Scentsy Review and Giveaway

If there's one thing I simply cannot do with out in the fall, it's the pleasure of yummy scented things tantalizing my nose! Seriously, I love fall and one of the very first things I do to prepare for fall is to bring out all of the fall scents that have been tucked away for months. Oh, how I love warm scents of pumpkin, cinnamon, cranberry, hazelnut, vanilla, etc (I could go on and on...). They delight my senses so!

When Independent Scentsy Consultant Fawn Lade contacted me about sending some Scentsy my way for review, I couldn't say no! I've only previously tried a couple of things from Scentsy, so when a lovely packaged arrived on my doorstep a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't wait to tear into it!

Fawn was super sweet enough to send me my very own (and first) Wall Plug-In Warmer, a Scentsy Bar and a Fragrance Foam! It sort of felt like Christmas morning! I was impressed by the packaging. The wax blocks came packed on ice so they wouldn't melt in the hot delivery truck. The warmer was also gently packed so that it would avoid breakage.

I love the warmer (Bloom Plug-In Warmer) that Fawn sent to me. Before Sacha and I had Balian, we had a guest room that was done in a black and white theme. We had to give that room up for a nursery, but will one day have the guest room back, and when we do, I cannot wait for this beautiful warmer to be a part of it! Right now, though, I have the warmer in my kitchen. It's one of the only places with an outlet out of Balian's reach, and it goes with most of the colors we've got going on in there. I love the way it looks in there. When turned on, the soft light pours through the tips of the flowers on the warmer. It'd make a great night light. I use it early in the morning when I'm up getting coffee, and getting ready to start working, and I also use it at night. Balian's room is right off of our kitchen, so the less light I have to use, the better!

As soon as I plugged the warmer into my outlet and turned it on last week, the yummy wax brick immediately started releasing fragrance. Soon after, the entire house smelled like Cranberry Muffin, which is the scent Fawn chose for me... and what a great choice! It's a perfect scent to help usher in fall, as I begin my fall decorating this week. I haven't gotten to sniff many Scentsy scents, but by the detailed descriptions on the website, I can already tell the one's I'm sure to like. Baked Apple Pie, Autumn Sunset (really want this one!), Black Raspberry Vanilla, Clean Breeze, French Kiss, and Love Story are just a few I want to try! There's even a Scentsy Man collection, filled with scents for your hubby, brother, boss, dad, etc! Scentsy is perfect for everyone! Hmm... my dad's office could use some Scentsy!

Premium Full Size Warmers...

I love that Scentsy has a huge variety of warmers- the Wall Plug In's, Premium, Fill Size, and the Mid-Size Warmers, too. There are warmers available for any and every style of decor imaginable. They offer specialty collections, too- including warmers for military folks, and even DIY Warmers! Scentsy's warmers make excellent gifts- for men and women, alike! If you're stuck on what to get a friend, teacher, co-worker, etc... you can't go wrong with a Scentsy Warmer!

TIP: If you're into decorating, you probably already know that fragrance is actually an element of decor. Decorators know the importance of layering fragrances through out the home. That is, having more than one fragrance burning at a time. For me, I like to have fragrance in the kitchen, in the family room, in the bathroom and in our master bedroom. I usually burn a food-like scent in the kitchen, a warm scent in the family room, a clean scent in the bathroom, and another warm or clean scent in the master bedroom. These fragrances add layers, and when someone steps into your home, they will immediately feel at ease, and at home, as well, because you've made your home an inviting place for all who enter.

And last but not least...
Fawn was also sweet enough to send me a Scentsy Fragrance Foam in the Skinny Dippin' scent. I love the Fragrance Foam! Every mom really needs to have this in her purse, and in the diaper bag. I can't tell you how many times we've been out somewhere and I've not had hand sanitizer with me when I needed it most- like after a diaper change, or after a feeding out at a restaurant. These Fragrance Foams smell divine! Skinny Dippin' is a nice, sweet and clean scent... and if you accidentally taste you finger or hand after using it (I do this often), it doesn't take gross like regular hand sanitizer, which is a huge plus! There are fifteen yummy scents to choose from. I recommend that everyone have at least one of these!

Scentsy has lot's of other cool products, too- like Scent Circles, Scent Packs, Room Sprays and Travel Tins! These would be great to have on hand- to use in your home or car, or to keep stashed away in your gift closet. Don't have one? Read tomorrow's post for more info!

The bottom line is- if you love scents, Scentsy is for you! You simply can't go wrong with wickless candles, beautiful warmers that you can change with the seasons or when you're in the mood for something different. Change the scents as often as you wish, too! There are so, so many scents to choose from. Try them all!
